WELCOME TO CHAPPELL HILL VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT!

100% Volunteer. 100% Dependent On You!

🏘️ About Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department

  • The Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department has proudly served our community since 1974, providing critical emergency response just 15–20 minutes east of Brenham.

  • We are a 100% volunteer organization—every firefighter dedicates their time, training, and service to protecting the lives and property of the Chappell Hill community.

🚒 What We Do

  • From structure fires and vehicle accidents to wildland fires and medical emergencies, our department stands ready to respond whenever the call comes in.

  • But unlike career departments, our firefighters respond from their homes, jobs, and families—making community support essential to maintaining rapid, effective responses.

💵 How We Are Funded

  • As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on our community's support.

  • Our funding comes from:

    • Generous donations from community members and supporters.

    • Two major annual fundraisers:

      • Bluebonnet Festival

      • BBQ Cook-Off

  • Your support directly impacts our ability to respond!
