In other news!
At 7:30 PM, the Chappell Hill VFD was dispatched to the 25200 block of Laneview Road in Hempstead for a report of a structure fire. Your Chappell Hill Firefighters were called to assist Waller County with a barn that had caught on fire. Firefighters arrived on the scene and assisted our neighbors with manpower for overhaul. Chappell Hill Firefighters cleared the scene around 9:32 PM!
Over the weekend, your Chappell Hill Firefighters participated in the Washington County Live Burn at the Teex Brayton Fire Field. They trained alongside the Washington County Recruit Class, practicing search and rescue exercises inside a burning building, handling hoses, and managing LPG fires. This training will enhance the skills of our dedicated men and women in the department, preparing them to respond effectively during emergencies.
Chappell Hill Firefighters also participated in the local Trick or Treat on Main Street, Hosted by the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce! We had a blast spending time with our community and engaging with those who attended. We were able to hand out candy to the kiddos and show off our new Fire truck as well! We appreciate everyone who came out and talked to us!
